1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and nBranches Ltd, doing business as One Owner ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and your account

• If you are under 13, you need a parent's or guardian's permission, and they should manage the account with you.
• Give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure.
• Handles are unique and can only be changed by request.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us if you think it has been misused.

3. Cars you add

• Only add cars you own, keep, have owned, or have the owner's permission to record.
• Make sure photos and documents you upload are yours to share.
• A One Owner garage, show card or PDF export is a personal record. It is not proof of ownership, legal title or a registration certificate (V5C).

4. Free membership

One Owner is currently free. Fair-use limits apply, such as the number of cars, photos, uploads and daily MOT lookups, to keep the service reliable for everyone. If we ever introduce paid features we will tell you in advance and you will never be charged without agreeing first.

5. Your content

Your cars, photos, stories and records stay yours. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store, process and display them only to run One Owner, including showing anything you choose to publish. This licence ends when your content is deleted.

6. Acceptable use

• Only post content you own or have permission to share.
• Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or that impersonates another owner.
• Don't publish other people's registrations or personal details without consent.
• Don't scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass limits or security.
• Don't use the service to sell stolen or misrepresented vehicles.

7. Vehicle and MOT data

MOT and tax information comes from DVSA and DVLA and is shown as provided. Records you add yourself are your own. We cannot guarantee accuracy, so always check official sources before buying, selling or driving a vehicle. Private notes should never contain security details such as key locations or immobiliser codes.

8. No mechanical, safety or valuation advice

Reminders, service intervals, specifications and history in One Owner are for your information only. They are not mechanical, safety, legal or valuation advice. Always use a qualified mechanic for repairs and safety checks, and keep up with your legal duties such as MOT, tax and insurance yourself.

9. Reports and moderation

Anyone can report a public collection. We may review, hide or remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms. Where reasonable we will explain why.

10. Ideas and feedback

We love hearing your ideas. If you send us suggestions or feedback, for example through “Got an idea?”, we may use them to improve One Owner without owing you payment or credit. Please don't send anything confidential.

11. Our brand and software

The One Owner name, logo, design and software belong to nBranches Ltd. You may not copy, resell or reuse them except as these terms allow, such as sharing your own show cards and public collection links.

12. Deleting your account

• You can delete your account at any time from Account settings.
• Your garage is hidden immediately and you can no longer sign in.
• You can recover it by emailing hello@nbranches.com within 30 days.
• After 30 days your account and content are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
• Download any exports you need before deleting.

13. Availability and changes

We work to keep One Owner available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. We may change or retire features. For material changes to these terms we will ask you to accept the new version when you next sign in.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, as One Owner is provided free, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of data you have not backed up, or decisions made using vehicle information shown in the app. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
